Ready to start saving?

Thanks Karen & Eileen for letting me post on your blog.

With the economy the way it is, what better time than now to start saving money, right? And using coupons with sale items is a GREAT way to start! Most coupons can be found in the Sunday paper, but there are TONS of other great coupons on the Internet. You need to download a program on to your computer so that the bar-code can print correctly & scan correctly at the store, but after that, the savings are ENDLESS.

You can generally print 2 coupons PER computer. After the coupon prints, just hit your back button a few times & another one will print. Each coupon will have a unique code printed under the expiration date. So, if you have more than one computer at home, that will increase the number of coupons you can print. Here is a list of websites that frequently change the coupons they have:

***Word of caution…if you think you *might* use a certain coupon; print it because they might be gone when you want it. Generally, the expiration date on the printed coupons will be one month from the date you print them.

Safeway Deals 5/6 – 5/12

Info on Safeway:

* has Proctor & Gamble (PG) coupons you can load right onto your Club Card. You can use these WITH manufacturer coupons to save even MORE money! You can check that out here: Click here

* also has printable coupons on their site. Some are even Safeway specific. Go here to check them out: Click here

*Each week in their flyer they have a “double” coupon that will double up to 4 manufacturers (mfg) coupons up to $.50 ea, so a maximum additional savings of $2.
$.40 mfg coupon + double = savings of $.80 ($.40 + $.40 double)
$.50 mfg coupon + double = savings of $1.00 ($.50 + $.50 double)
$1.00 mfg coupon + double = savings of $1.50 ($1 + $.50 double)

Pam, I went to Safeway last night and used your coupon method. From the newspaper I used a $10.00 off coupon straight off my total, then I bought a Coke feature BOGO and got 2 "free" 12 packs and a free 24pack of Dansani water. By switching brands on pasta, sauce and juice I received a $10 off of my next visit and a wad of great coupons for future visits. I did get deals on many of the flyer items too just by taking a few minutes to read the insert in the car before I ran in. Thank you sweet daughter for saving me about $30.00! This can be a fun game of how much can you save every week! I hope that other readers will be able to comment on their successes. I would really like to hear! Personal stimulus package!!

I noticed you mentioned BOGO and you enjoy the art to saving money, so I wanted to quickly tell you about my website
You can get local BOGO (Buy One, Get One) deals emailed to you weekly from! Over 90 nearby grocery stores, more than 15 neighborhood pharmacies, plus the shoe stores, fast food and other places you already shop have amazing bargains you can receive weekly, at no cost. No personal info is required other than your email address, city and state so we can send you the BOGOs in your area. You can even do a local search without signing up using the “Find BOGOs” tab! After that the BOGO's will begin to roll in. And simply unsubscribe if you’re not satisfied.
