A CALL TO FELLOW BLOGGERS FOR HELP

Hello faithful bloggers! I am here today to ask for your help. As most of you know, I contracted the H1N1 virus in mid September of last year. For 3 months I battled unknowingly for my life, winning the struggle. I am still now. in the end of January, experiencing overwhelming fatigue and breathing difficulties. Two days ago the original symptoms of "The Pig" returned to my astonishment. They are in a much less intense form, fever very low, and sporadic, sore and swollen throat is already gone, cough persists.

My request begins here.... I have an appointment with a pulmonary specialist on Tuesday at noon. I would like to enter his office with knowledge and detail of this virus. Do any of you have experience with recurrence of this virus and/or continuance of the cough and breathing problems? Any friends or family with these problems? The Dr.s still don't have enough information about this virus to complete treatment, so I would like to be prepared to help!!! Thank you so much! I am more than happy to share whatever I learn.

Hi Karen,,, I am so sorry this is still causing you so many problems. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers for a speedy and full recovery. (())
I have not been diagnosed with anything in particular, however in Oct, Dec and now Jan I have had a very bad re-occuring bad Upper Respitory Infection. I have coughed so much i have sore muscles and ribs. Symptoms seem to move around day by day. I have been fighting this last episode for over 2 weeks now and I hope once its gone it doesnt come back again in a month. I hope you get to the bottom of your illness very soon. Take care. I'm going to be completely honest with you. From what I understand the recurrence of this illness is the most dangerous form. I am not a doctor, nurse or anything in the medical field. I'm getting my knowledge of the seriousness from the news.

My 15 year-old-son had it earlier as did most of the school. The doctor told us he'd be okay but the seriousness is when it leaves and comes back.

PLEASE keep your appointment and do EVERYTHING that he/she tells you do.

You are in my thoughts and prayers and please keep us posted.

Much love,

Kathie

I'm sorry, I wish I had some knowledge to pass on to you. Prayed for you just now, though.

Oh my Karen...You will be in my prayers tonight and onward. I popped onto the blog to let you and Eileen know that I just received my order and to thank you for the beautiful pieces. BUT now I want to wish you health and strength. I cannot offer any first hand advice other than go see the pulmonary doctor and take in his guidance. He will help you through!
Gail -- I hope you feel better too! Eat & rest!
same goes for your son Kathie! take best care of yourselves!
Julie -- Prayers are the best medicine...am right there with you.
