Sweet Baby Luke

We are so excited to welcome a new little Grandson into our family! Sweet little Luke arrived exactly a week early on July 24th. What a little sweetheart!

I've been on Grandma duty with his big brother Bradley which has been so fun.

It was so precious to watch Bradley meet baby Luke for the first time.

 Steph and Brian did a great job of preparing him to be a great big brother. He was really excited to go to the hospital to see him and again when they brought him home today.

Signs Of Summer

Summer had taken it's sweet time arriving in Oregon this year....but we think it's finally here. Several days of sun in a row and temps above 70 degrees are a welcome reprieve from the rainy, soggy days we've had for months and months.

We ventured to the Coast on Saturday to soak up some of that glorious sun.

What a wonderful day with family and our sweet little guy...his first time putting his toes in the water and joining in the Frisbee fun!

Awe, the sweetness of summer is here.

Sweet Little One

There is nothing better than welcoming a new baby into our family. Meet our new Grandson, Bladen Paul. Isn't he darling! He was born October 20th just squeaking in one minute before Midnight. So his official birth date is 10/20/2010! Lucky kid, that's a date that even I can remember! He is the cutest little guy and has been such a good natured baby. We have had such a fun time getting to know him.

Anticipation!

It's been a wild and crazy summer...but you've probably noticed that by our lack of blog postings! Sometimes something has got to give! This week is the best kind of crazy! We are full of excitement and ANTICIPATION! My son has been gone for two years serving a mission for our church....and finally it is time for him to come home!!! I'm so excited I can hardly wait to see him! We are busy getting things ready here at the house. For one thing, I have to give him his bedroom back! Seem that our business just crept into his room and took up residency while he was away! Can you imagine that! I dream of the day my businesses will be neatly organized and tucked nicely away into a space of it's own! But for now...it's coming out of his room because my boy is coming home!
