Runaway Day!

Last week my husband and I just up and ran away for the day! Both facing very busy and stressful day's ahead, we decided we needed to take a breath. We are so lucky to live about an hour from the beach.

The good old, "hold your camera at arms length and try not to cut your heads off technique". Not bad!

Haystack Rock at Cannon Beach is one of my favorite places to walk. The sunset was absolutely gorgeous!
Sometimes, you just need a day to recharge. This week when my life is crazy busy getting ready for the next wedding and trying to keep up with everything else, I'm remembering what an amazing day we had together, and that gets me through!

Hi Eileen...how fun does your runaway day look???? I would love to visit the beach soon. I love a place called Morro Bay on the central coast of California. I have been going there since I was a child. Its a special place too. I am glad to hear you had a good time....luv,gail

Hi Eileen,
I don't know if I ever told you that my husband and I went to Oregon on our honeymoon. It was in '92 - we wanted to summer ski on Mt Hood, Timberline Lodge and we also spent a week on the coast and visited Cannon beach. So beautiful out by you!
