Weddings…Definitely One of My Favorite Things!

I’ve been so blessed this summer in my Wedding business. It’s truly a joy to be a Wedding Designer and work in tandem with my brides to make their perfect day a reality. I love their fresh ideas and use of colors. They don’t feel tied to the conservative traditions of yesterday, but free to maker their special day tailored to their own dreams.

The bright colors this bride chose were such a statement of her personality, such a sweet and sunny girl.
My Saturday wedding was both a décor and floral job. I love conceptualizing the event as a whole. Developing the atmosphere and flavor of the event. The colors were Ivory and Black with a classy elegant feel.

A grand entrance greeted guests and set the stage for a special evening. We did a 12ft by 32 ft backdrop with black drapes and echoed it behind the dessert buffet in an 8ft by 40 ft backdrop.

The rest of the ceiling and room was swaged with lights & tulle concluding in 12ft drops. I have to say, it was pretty stunning! My husband and I were invited to this wedding, so it was really fun to stand near the entrance and listen to the gasps and comments as people walked in the door. As a designer, I live for that!

As we were tearing down Saturday night, the Mother of the Bride asked me if I was happy how things had turned out? I answered her by asking, if she was happy with everything? Her reply was…“oh so happy”. Then, I exceeded my goal!
Join us this week at Make Mine Pink for Pink Friday! We’ll be offering a few more of “Our Favorite Things”!

That was amazing, quite the staging event, no wonder you were so tired after that. It is very sopisticated looking, but I have to tell you the colorful bouquet is what caught my fancy. Guess I'll never be a 'sophisticate'..

Stunning, Eileen, absolutely stunning and I'll bet the pictures don't come close to how beautiful the setting was in person. Sounds like a lot of work, but I'll bet it is so very satisfying...you are truly an artist!!
